Organised student body

Structure

Aufbau der Verfassten Studierendenschaft Rottenburg: Die immatrikulierten Studierenden der HFR bilden die Verfasste Studierendenschaft (VS). Daraus resultieren vier studentische Senatsmitglieder mit Stimmberechtigung. Sieben Wahlmitglieder mit Stimmberechtigung. Acht Studiengangssprecher mit beratender Stimme. Zentrale Organe der VS sind der Studierendenrat und der Allgemeine Studierendenausschuss (AStA). Daneben gibt es noch die Hochschulgruppen.

The enrolled students of the HFR form the constituted student body (VS). It is a public corporation with legal capacity and, as such, a constituent body of the HFR. Its reintroduction was decided by the state parliament in 2012.

GOVERNING BODIES OF THE VS

The central organs of the VS are the Student Council and the General Students' Committee (AstA).
The Student Council decides on the fundamental matters of the VS, including the statutes (legislative body). It consists of seven members elected for one year, the student senate members and, in an advisory capacity, the programme spokespersons. As a non-statutory body of the VS, the university groups also have an important advisory voice and organise a variety of student activities. Day-to-day business is managed by the AstA (executive body). It is made up of the chairperson and two officers.
