Internationalisation strategy

HFR's internationalisation strategy
Challenges such as climate change, the energy transition, the mobility transition, digitalisation, and migration and refugee movements cannot only be addressed at regional or national level but require international dialogue to find solutions.

The Rottenburg School of Forestry (HFR) is also committed to both the basic idea of sustainability in its internationalisation and to the Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations.

The HFR supports its students with targeted offers through international and practice-oriented study programmes, study visits, internships, and excursions abroad for later professional activities and for international cooperation. The HFR expressly welcomes international students and guests. The international mobility and networking of professors, students and staff is a prerequisite for the internationalisation of the university and is therefore encouraged. International collaborations are cultivated and international research projects are supported in a special way.
