At HFR, there are various application procedures in place for:

Once you have been nominated, you will receive all the necessary information and forms from us. Please email the completed documents to InternationalOffice@hs-rottenburg.de.

Information on the lectures and modules on offer can be found on the HFR website. Please choose among the modules from a maximum of two degree programmes (study programmes) or among the “International Semester” or “Dual Degree” modules (courses taught in English). Please make sure, that the credits you will earn will be recognised by your home university. Once you have applied, you will be put in touch with the relevant staff responsible for the degree programmes (programme coordinators, programme directors).
Shortly before the start of your studies, the course catalogue or timetable will be available and you will finalise your course selection.”

1. German-language degree programmes
Application procedure for students worldwide wishing to obtain a degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s) at the HFR.
You may select among our study programms taught in German language.
The admissions process is handled by the Studienkolleg in Konstanz.

2. Dual-degree Master‘s programme
From winter semester 2027/28 onwards, the Master’s programme Forest Management offers a dual-degree in cooperation with Lakehead University in Canada. In four semesters, participating students obtain the M.Sc. of Forest Management and the Master of Environmental Management at Lakehead University. The dual-degree master’s program is not offered as an independent program, but rather a unique combination of selected content from both accredited national programs. The selection of participating students is carried out by each university.
