ERASMUS+ Lecturer mobility

Mobility for teaching purpos:

Teacher mobility and foreign company staf

Erasmus funds guest lectureships at European partner universities that hold an Erasmus University Charter. The guest lecturers are expected to strengthen the European dimension of the host university through their stay, supplement its teaching programme and impart their specialist knowledge to students who are unable or unwilling to study abroad. This should include the development of joint study programmes between the two partner universities and the exchange of teaching content and methods.
Teaching visits must comprise at least five teaching hours and may last a maximum of six weeks.

It is also possible to support teaching programmes for foreign company staff at German universities inorder to strengthen cooperation between universities and commercial enterprises.

The following groups of people, for example, can be supported in the area of teaching (Staff Mobility for teaching):

  • Lecturers who have a contractual relationship with the university
  • Company personnel (incoming)

The programme offers the following services:

  • The financial support for mobility is based on the different costs of living in the destination countries. Travelling costs are calculated according to the distance between the place of departure and destination of the mobility.
