Compulsory-elective subjects for the B.Sc. in Wood Management and Technology

During the degree, students must earn at least 12 ECTS credits through compulsory-elective subjects. These give our students the opportunity to explore their own interests in greater depth and to set their own individual areas of specialisation.

Depending on the courses on offer, students may also take compulsory-elective subjects from other degree programmes. This allows them to broaden their knowledge and gain a perspective that extends beyond the boundaries of their own specialist field.
Furthermore, students can propose new compulsory-elective subjects themselves and thus play an active role in shaping the range of courses on offer.

Examples of frequently offered compulsory-elective modules include:

  • Dimensioning in Timber Construction
  • Structural Analysis
  • Sales Training
  • Quality Management
  • Climate Impact of Wood and Forest Management
