Armin Bihlmaier
Armin Bihlmaier

Biology graduate, nature educator, nature and landscape guide (BANU-certified)
His love of nature and curiosity about everything that blooms were instilled in him by his family.
After completing his studies, he swapped his hobby for his profession and from then on worked as a computer scientist.
However, he was still only ever out and about in nature with an identification book, showing and explaining to anyone interested what was growing and flowering by the wayside.
That's why his wife gave him the gift of training as a nature educator for his 50th birthday, after which he became a nature and landscape guide.
From then on, there was no stopping him – regular guided tours and lectures, especially at the Weggental citizens' project, filled many weekends.
He has also recently become involved in the environmental department of Rottenburg town council.
To get even more people interested in local plants, he and his wife photographed and wrote the pocket guide "Notfallapotheke aus und in der Natur" (Emergency first-aid kit from and in nature).
Since 2019, he has been a lecturer for the wild plants course at the University of Applied Forest Sciences in Rottenburg.

Olfert Dorka
Landscape Architect Olfert Dorka

Managing Director of UmweltDienst Dorka GmbH in Freudenstadt

My educational work began in 1980 with seminars on nature topics and eventually culminated in 1994 with the founding of the seminar house "Naturkolleg Hirzwald" as a meeting and experience center for nature relationships.
In the exchange of ideas and actions with other people, seminar and training concepts emerged that, in addition to imparting knowledge, place greater emphasis on the emotional level and personal spirituality, thereby fostering and solidifying a vibrant relationship with creation.
Especially from my professional activities and numerous contacts with nature-oriented landscapes all the way to Siberia and Mongolia, an understanding of the impact of landscapes on our well-being developed. These many years of experience encouraged me to establish and implement a training program in "Landscape Therapy" starting in 2008.
